Piano

The story

“Piano” is a sculpture by Avraham Pelgi, standing in the western part of the Sculpture Route at Hatzerim, about a hundred meters from the sculpture “Sababa”. It is one of the thirty-nine sculptures that have been placed along the route and on the hills around it, a project that began in the year 2000 on the initiative of the artist and curator Marga Fishtein and her husband Israel, who invited Israeli artists to place in the field works that relate to the environment and to the space, and the process of curating has continued since. The route is open to pedestrians, to bicycles and to vehicles.
